Created more than thirty years ago by sculptor Éric Saint Chaffray, this chicken has never left the family table.
More than a sculpture, it became a ritual. A silent witness to celebrations, long conversations, laughter and everyday moments shared around the table.
Over time, it revealed something simple: a single object can transform the way we gather.
That conviction would one day become Ferdie.
After more than thirty-five years dedicated to sculpture—including a remarkable career at the Musée Grévin— Éric Saint Chaffray opened a new chapter alongside his son Colin.
Together, they founded a creative workshop with a shared ambition: to imagine sculptural objects designed for the place where people meet, celebrate and create memories together.
In 2025, that vision became Ferdie.
Named after the youngest generation of the family, the Maison embodies a dialogue between heritage and renewal, craftsmanship and contemporary creation.
Ferdie is more than a collection of sculptural objects.
It is an invitation to look differently at the table.
To compose rather than decorate.
To gather rather than simply dine.
To celebrate craftsmanship, conversation and the simple joy of sharing.
Because we believe the table deserves to be a place for art.

Ferdie pieces is imagined, sculpted and finished in our workshop in France.
From the first sketch to the final application of gold or silver leaf, each stage is carried out with patience, precision and respect for traditional craftsmanship.
Modelling, mould-making, casting, finishing and gilding are not simply production steps; they are part of a dialogue between artistic expression and artisanal expertise.
Some techniques have been passed down for generations. Others are constantly reinterpreted. This balance between heritage and experimentation shapes every Ferdie creation.
